Tyres

We supply and fit tyres for cars, 4x4, light goods vehicles up to 3500 Kg. We carry a huge stock of tyres from all the major manufacturers and also mid range and budget tyres for the more price conscious, including the latest "Run Flat" technology.

Our sales advisors will always provide you with the best advice available and advise you on a range of tyre options that will best fit your specific needs. In the unlikely event that a tyre is not in our warehouse, then we usually obtain these within 24 hours direct from the manufacturers and regional distribution centres.

All tyres are fitted to the very highest standards for the industry, including new valves and the very latest in computerized wheel balancing technology. All tyres are also inflated with Nitrogen so as to reduce the incidence of wheel corrosion and to ensure that the tyre pressure remains constant, thereby reducing tyre wear and increasing your safety.

Bridge Street is also the operations centre for our Trade Distribution Operation. Tyres are dispatched to our trade customers throughout South Yorkshire, parts of West Yorkshire / Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, with normally two deliveries a day to these areas and even more frequently within Sheffield. We try to provide customers with the best service and most competitive price available, usually if a tyre is ordered before 13.00 it will be delivered the same day.

Batteries

We supply and fit batteries from our Varta / Exide and Energy ranges. These are of exceptional quality and value, the Varta and Exide batteries being to the vehicle manufacturer's original specification and have a 3 year warranty. For those on a tighter budget the Energy is a great value battery with a 2 year warranty.

Alloy Wheels

We are able to supply a great variety of Alloy Wheels from all the major manufacturers, including replicas. These can be supplied as bare units or as complete wheel / tyre packages. We also stock a variety of locking wheel nuts and bolts to keep your purchase safe. See "Special Offers" page for more information

2007 Flood

During June 2007 the area surrounding Bridge Street was hit by the worst flooding in 100 years. The depot was badly damaged with all the office and other equipment being destroyed.

However due to the hard work of staff and contractors, tyre stocks were salvaged and we were operating a limited service again within 3 days using our other depots, which had not been affected. It took some time for the main warehouse and depot to achieve anything like normal operations.

Just as we had started to get back to normal, we were fortunate in being asked to host the launch of a new album by the legendary Richard Hawley, (no relation), this being his "Lady's Bridge" Album. The evening and the album were both great success stories and we are proud to be associated with one of the great "Sons of Sheffield" in this way.
